Galina Obushinskaya

As a founding member of El Tango Collective, Inc., the following short bio tells you a little about my dance experience. 

As an adult, I have over 15 years of experience dancing and performing Argentine Tango and Flamenco. 

Having studied with world-renowned teachers of Argentine Tango, like Esteban Moreno and Claudia Codega, as well as Luciano Brigante and Alejandra Orozco, Horacio Godoy, Adrian Verediche, and Alejandra Hobert, Argentine Tango world champions Katy Simonova and Stanislav Fursov, I have gained experience in teaching technique and execution. 

In addition, I have performed various international dances, such as Italian Tarantella, Brazilian Samba and Russian Folk Dances.

As a member of the Tango 21 Dance Theater, I performed with Tango-fusion shows at the following venues in Chicago:
